My personal experience being on-the-spectrum motivates me to make jewelry that provides comfort. I had a successful booth at a vintage/art market for 6yrs. A radio station opened across from my booth & I sat under a speaker playing separate music. I was sandwiched between 2different sound waves, with the occasional subwoofer creating a 3rd sound wave. This caused my hands to shake with tremors uncontrollably. It forced me to leave the market as my requests to be relocated were denied. Looking back, I wish I had found a full-time employee to take over sales- or had one of my stimming necklaces scented with something that could calm my nervous system.
 
Since learning about my needs(& triggers) I'm hoping to find the best fit for me to display & sell my jewelry in person again. I really enjoyed the good days-connecting with people. I love to adjust chain lengths & offer free repairs on any jewelry. I could tell when my space sparked artistic interest in a young person & was honored to be that role model.

I've battled & finally beat endometriosis after 17yrs (thoracic endo for 4yrs). I've had 3surgeries to remove endo, 2thoracic, & had a significant part of my diaphragm removed. I faced trauma therapy in 2020 &
have been working to heal myself on every level. I have experienced extreme disassociation, to the point of a condition, & am dedicated to blending all parts of myself, as I know it is possible. I have a strong faith
in my Creator & in the words of Jesus Christ. You give something power with belief (to be in love) & with that miracles can happen.

I am no longer comfortable making art celebrating tv, movies, books or famous people as many of them aren't interested in protecting children. Even when the story is good the people involved aren't.
My art is now centered around celebrating animals, nature, food (because many
people express love through food), tools (knives are tools & protectors),
& anything punny.
